early morning break-in at armada office East Wenatchee, WA, March 15, 2016– An intruder entered the Armada Corp. offices early morning of March 14th. Armada personnel responded to an initial intrusion alarm the evening of March 13th to find the building secure and empty. “We believe now that this occurrence may have been a test of our security systems and response time” says Albert Rookard, Vice President at Armada. An intruder returned to the building by
breaking a window at 1:48 a.m. on the 14th triggering
numerous sensors and camera feeds. It was apparent that this person
was prepared for the video surveillance as he was covered from head
to toe including mask and gloves. His movement through the building
was tracked and at no time was any consumer or sensitive data
compromised. “This person was clearly after cash and cash only”
states Tim Carson, Armada President. Damage estimated at around
$4,000 for a broken window, damage to two doors and $15 in cash. Please contact the East Wenatchee Police Department if you have any information.
